The best part about my job as a wedding photographer is that- that is only the start of a couples journey together!  For better or worse, thru up and downs, adventures and growing families, there are so many special moments, and I'm overjoyed when I get to continue in that journey.  Enjoy this feature on the beautiful Brittney + Jordan!

With a stunning snowy backdrop in the same spot they were married this couple took some wintery maternity photos, that now grace our baby blog! Brittney and Jordan decided to celebrate baby Forest’s (yes, how fitting?!) soon arrival at Brown Family Homestead, the exact place of their nuptials – isn’t that precious?! Momma-to-be, Brittney made her own Holly floral crown to fit the snowy scene. The couple bundled up in layers of heather grey and Marsala that popped against the white and woodsy backdrop. Can we pause and take a second to admire her style that looks comfy and cozy while still so adorable – we need a maxi cardigan ASAP! Even baby Forest’s teeny moccasins color coordinated! With shots in the middle of the tree packed forest, and along the snow covered lake shore, Jacquelynn Brynncaptured the growing family in a breathtaking way. Take us to Washington so we can wander through this Narnia-like land please! Beautiful!

This was such a special day, I had the immense joy of being surrounded by five of my brides at one wedding, and their wonderful friends and family!  Not to mention another beautiful wedding full of DIY inspiration by the Gilstrap ladies (yes you may recognize Brittney from her beautiful woodland inspired wedding, although she has a little bit more to love about her, but more about that tomorrow).  Tiffaney and Steven had a great line up of vendors who helped pull together such a wonderful celebration.  Enjoy this one!

This Victorian-themed wedding, captured by Jacquelynn Brynn Photography, has classic romance written all over it, making it the perfect feature for the week leading up to Valentine's Day. The muted pink and purple florals with pops of wine have us hoping that a similar bouquet will find its way to our tables this February 14 (And just in case it doesn't, we've got our own wallets ready. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands...). Back to the wedding -- We're not sure an outdoor locale could be much dreamier -- a stunning weeping willow, a lakeside beach and those lush vineyards. What more could you ask for!? We love how this couple kept it simple, allowing the surroundings to truly work their magic.

Winery weddings are great! You can never run out of wine... I promise that can be a thing at your wedding.  But there are so many other wonderful reasons for a winery wedding.  And the crew at Tsillan Cellars takes extra care to make sure your celebration will be one no guest forgets!  Enjoy this feature by Apple Brides!

Can there be anything more sophisticated and magical than getting married at a winery? We think not.  This Tsillan Cellars Winery Wedding by Jacquelynn Brynn Photography  is all that and more and is also the perfect way to kick off Winery Wedding Week! How gorgeous are those vineyard shots, the elegant bridesmaids and the venue itself?  Couple Jason and Jessica had three bottles of wine as their guest book one for the first, fifth and tenth anniversary, such a sweet idea.

I'm feeling totally honored today to have Brittney and Jordan's wedding featured on Green Wedding Shoes.  Some weddings stand the tests of time for the amazing day and details- this is one of them.  They truly put so much of themselves into preparing for their celebration, and I am honored to share in their story and can't wait to share some of their next chapter soon!

Happy Monday ladies + gents! We have the prettiest, vintage-inspired wedding to share this morning and it’s filled with tons and TONS of DIY! Brittney + Jordan purposely didn’t hire a wedding planner because they knew they wanted to pull all those special details together on their own. They pieced together everything from the flower girl outfits (srlsy, wait ’til you see them – cuteness overload!) to the sweet, woodsy  table scape and reception details. Since we’re sure so many of you are knee-deep in DIY projects yourself, let’s hear more from Brittney about the crafts she took on.

Big thanks to Jacquelynn Henderson for the beautiful photos and congrats to Brittney + Jordan on a lovely day!

It's all about connections.  I knew this wedding was going to be special way before it happened.  I met Sarah in business school, she's the funniest, sweetest person, but we didn't keep in touch.  She fell in love with Karma (like anyone who visits!) and then with some wedding photos she saw taken there (me).  Then Sarah lost her ring on a street in Seattle before her wedding, and someone found it and was able to return it to her! And her hubby and her have been friends since elementary school days... Sarah was very thoughtful and stylish in their details... But like always Borrowed + Blue has a way with words that I can't top... Enjoy

When Jacquelynn Brynn Photography shares a gorgeous Chelan wedding with us, we immediately know it is going to be a great day. A rising star on the wedding scene, each and every celebration she documents is so full of grace, sophistication, and some of the most stunning beauty that our eyes have ever met. And lucky for us, Sarah & Jacob's September nuptials are just as alluring as they come. The entire day was chock full of classic touches with a contemporary flair, and this sweet juxtaposition has our hearts just melting. Add in bright pops of yellow and it instantly brightens up every little detail of the day -- perfection! Oh yes we are smitten with Sarah & Jacob and everything about Karma Vineyards, and one look at all this beauty is sure to leave you swooning for days. So go ahead and relish this one for yourselves already...
